My wife had been bugging me for about two years to buy a new BBQ. I had been putting it off as our old one worked fine. I knew where the hotspots were, and I was comfortable with it. To my surprise, yesterday I came home from work to see this brand new shiny Weber Genesis Propane Gas Grill on our deck.

Assembly according to my wife was extremely easy. I have double checked it all though. This grill is extremely high end for me. I have always only used the cheapo grills. This one also has a side burner, and I have never had one with that feature. We decided that corn on the cob and steaks were going to be the menu of choice. The side burner heated the pot of water extremely fast, and the steaks were cooked just perfect as the heat is evenly distributed and precise.

You can’t go wrong with this beauty.

We had been shopping around for a BBQ with a Rotisserie for some time. We ended up going with the Broil King Crown . Broil King has always been one of the top BBQ’s around and we have had no problems with our previous BBQ’s This one was within our budget and has all the features we wanted. The drop shelf is very useful. One thing that we weren’t sure on was the size to buy, if I was to do it again I would go bigger, you couldn’t cook a big huge turkey on this one. It does fit our needs well though; we have cooked a few chickens and a pig on the spit. And it cooks evenly, and fairly quick. Not other negative comments at all on this one. A+++

I was getting really tired of my old rusty, creaky BBQ. We also do a lot of camping and had been cooking over fires for sometime. I decided that it was time to replace the BBQ we had been using for the last 15 years. We chose the Weber Q 100 Portable Gas Grill; let me tell you it is just fantastic.

Right out of the box, it was easy to set up. The instructions were easy to read and precise.
And this little bugger can grill. It works better than the free standing grill we had been using, and it slides right in the trunk for our camping trips.

For just over $100 you can’t go wrong with this Weber. I would disregard any of the negative reviews. You get what you pay for and this is easily worth the money.

I started out looking at a few Hibachis for the hunt camp. I came across the DeckMate Contempo Gas Grill and I am very pleased with the purchase. The main thing that was important to me was the size as I do not have a lot of room when I pack up the truck. We do a lot of hunting and fishing at the camp. This grill works great; it heats up quick, and is ideal for cooking for 2-4 people. The fuel lasts quite awhile also as it is a small area that needs to be heated. For under $50 you can’t go wrong with this BBQ.

I have always wanted a high end BBQ. After spending a lot of time on the internet researching them, I finally chose the Weber Spirit Grill. Simply put this BBQ is a dream. It is simply amazing all of the options it has. It looks like a $1000 grill and I got a great deal on it. The best thing about this one that I liked over the other high end BBQ’s is the easy maneuverability. I live in the North so I need to be able to store the BBQ in the winter; this is easily done with the Spirit. I just finished hosting a 50 person party this past weekend and the BBQ handled the crowd perfectly. Great Buy.

Having used low end BBQ’s in the past my wife and I were anxious to upgrade to a high end BBQ. We chose the Weber Genesis E-320. This BBQ is a tank, very sturdy.

Assembly was a bit tricky at first, I like others was very frustrated at the fact some of the bolts didn’t seem proper for attachment. Fortunately for me, I had a wide variety of nuts and bolts in the garage.

We have used the grill approximately 5 times with zero problems, the adjustments are precise, and there are no hot spots, no flare ups. This BBQ is simply put a dream. My wife even wants to start BBQing, but that is one argument she will not win, as I am the Grill Chef.

You don’t have tp spend a ton of money to get a specialty smoker, just use thes tips here to turn your regular or portable gas grill into a backyard smoker. One that can be used on camping trips or at family functions. Which wood do you normally use for smoking? Many stores that carry grills and supplies also carry a wide variety of wood that you can use for smoking. These products come as small, thin slices, normally called chips or as large chunks. You may also see logs or bags of sawdust but it is recommended that you avoid these because using them requires several additional tools. The chips and chunks work best and are easy to use. Chips are ready to use straight from the bag. The chunks may still have some bark attached. If you have never had the chance to experiment with bark you may want to hold off on using the chunks with bark. It depends on the amount of bark on the chunks, but you could be adding some unexpected bitter flavors, without realizing. Although chunks are much larger than the chips, so they burn and smoke longer, and tend to need a lot less of your attention.
