We bought the Char-Griller 2123 around 6 months ago. Previously we had been using an old Hibachi, we are not huge BBQ’ers but enjoy the taste of a well broiled meal. We had read a lot of negative reviews regarding this BBQ, but its our opinion that it is a great BBQ and people need to remember that they are getting what they paid for.
Assembly of the BBQ was pretty easy, my son and I had no trouble putting it together in less than an hour. One thing that does seem to get mentioned a lot is the need for mitts when you are using the grill for extended periods of time, the handles do get very very hot. Considering the price we paid, and the upgrade from the old Hibachi, we are very happy with our purchase. We likely use the BBQ two to three times per week.
